is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy with 18 years of experience. He received his degree in Physical Therapy in 1993 from Ithaca College and the University of Rochester. David was a manager of outpatient rehabilitation at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan where he coordinated cases shared by the department of rehabilitation therapies and the department of pain management.
Drawing upon his expertise in orthopedics, pain management, and manual medicine, David prides himself on individualizing physical therapy treatments to achieve the highest level of recovery and peak performance for his patients. David has been co-owner of Cornerstone Physical Therapy & Wellness  for over seven years.


Thomas Gallagher has been providing physical therapy for over 14 years. Since graduating from New York Medical Center in 1997 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, Tom has immersed himself in continuing education with an emphasis on advancing his clinical expertise as well as his managerial skills. In 2003, Tom was certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. This certification acknowledges expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and sports related injuries. Tom was manager of outpatient rehabilitation at Beth Israel Medical Center for nine years. In 2008, Tom received his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University.

Tom has a particular interest and talent in spine therapy and sports related injuries. He is versed in all diagnoses related to the spine and specializes in Sacro-Iliac (SI) joint dysfunction. Tom stays current with the most recent literature and research and consistently strives for the most efficient ways to rehabilitate his patients.  

In addition to his clinical experience, Tom was elected as the Ethics Committee Chairperson of the New York Physical Therapy Association in 2002, and for the past seven years has been co-owner of Cornerstone Physical Therapy & Wellness.


Christopher McCaffrey has been practicing Physical Therapy for greater than 19 years. He earned his Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Mercy College. Over the years Chris has furthered his clinical education partaking in various orthopedic based courses strengthening his skills in the treatment of musculoskeletal and sports related injuries.

Chris’ strong manual therapy skills acquired over his many years of clinical experience and numerous educational workshops are the foundation of his treatment approach. He joins his strength of manual therapy with his extensive knowledge of therapeutic exercises to achieve optimal functioning in all patients with an emphasis on a return to sports. His area of clinical expertise lies in the treatment of injuries related to the shoulder, knee, ankle, and spine. Chris has been co-owner of Cornerstone Physical Therapy & Wellness since it’s inception in 2008.


Sasha Zill received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in 2006. In 2016 after 10 years of practice he achieved a Board-Certified Specialty in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS). His previous career as a fitness professional and a certified strength and conditioning coach combined with numerous continuing education courses help him to offer a broad range of techniques and treatment options. Sasha has received training from many treatment methods, including the Institute of Physical Art (IPA), Mckenzie Institute, Active Release Techniques (ART), Kinesio Taping Association (KTA), and North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Most recently in 2017 he became certified in Myofascial Decompression (cupping techniques).                                                                                                                                         
Sasha enjoys working with a broad spectrum of patients, from the minimally active to the competitive athlete, and encompassing a variety of diagnoses. He has completed numerous triathlons including Ironman Lake Placid 2013 and enjoys a wide variety of sports and outdoor activities.
